Pre-employment health assessments

Pre-employment health assessments are an increasingly important part of the recruitment process. They help evaluate the health and functional capacity of candidates through a series of questionnaires, standardised tests, and clinical assessments to identify potential issues, track health parameters and provide professional recommendations.

At Hindmarsh Physio and Sports we conduct work fitness assessments (otherwise known as a pre-employment functional capacity evaluation, or musculoskeletal assessment) for Recruitment and Corporate clients.

These assessments provide a detailed understanding of a potential employee’s physical strength, cardiovascular fitness and work capacity required to fulfill a proposed role. Used in conjunction with a pre-employment medical assessment, a work fitness assessment can assist in the appropriate selection of new employees.

  • Manual handling
