Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates

Pilates is an exercise technique, which focuses on gentle strengthening, balance and flexibility. "Clinical Pilates" is a modified form of therapeutic exercise used by Physiotherapists to assist in your rehabilitation and the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries.

It is an ideal rehabilitation tool, incorporating postural re-alignment with spinal stability. We strive to treat your symptoms and to correct the causative factors and thus prevent further problems. By addressing all components of the presenting injury, our individualized Clinical Pilates sessions aim to correct abnormal postures and movement patterns to reduce and prevent pain long term.

If you're exercising Online or maybe your instructors are just dealing with a number of people and you need some tips to be sure.

Our Physios can provide you with one to one instruction to give you confidence you are doing your exercises correctly so you can continue with your current Pilates, gym or classes with confidence.

You can request more information here about our classes and we will get right back to you.

Assessment & our Small Group Classes

Our Pilates program begins with a one-on-one assessment with one of our experienced physiotherapists. We'll take the time to understand your goals, how your body moves and any pain or injuries you're experiencing before creating a program that's tailored specifically to you. Close supervision of your technique and graded exercises ensure optimum safety and injury prevention. It is suitable for ALL ages and is great for general body strengthening and toning. Pilates can help with spinal pain, pre and post joint surgery, incontinence, osteoporosis, ante and post natal exercise. As you build strength and confidence, we'll guide you every step of the way. Our physiotherapists closely supervise your technique, gradually progress your exercises and make adjustments as you improve, helping you exercise safely while reducing the risk of injury.

Sessions can be done individually or in a small class. Our small, physio-led classes aren't about keeping up with everyone else—they're about helping your body move better, feel stronger and stay pain-free.

Whether you're looking to improve strength, reduce aches and pains or simply move with more confidence, we'd love to welcome you.

Unlike large fitness classes, our small groups are supervised by our experienced physios who understand your body, modify exercises when needed and help you progress safely at your own pace. If the classes are not convenient, you may book your session in the Pilates Studio and exercise independently, with regular reviews and updating of your program by our Physiotherapists at your convenience.

Individual sessions are available most days and currently classes are Monday Mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and  evenings.

We are :

  • Physiotherapist-led, not instructor-led.
  • Dedicated musculoskeletal experts.
  • Individual attention in small classes.
  • Exercises tailored to each participant.
  • Continuity of care if pain develops.
  • Focus on long-term strength, movement and injury prevention.

So why not take the next step towards a stronger, healthier you.
